Realtor to the Stars, Chad Rogers Offers Tips for Success from LA Direct
Chad Rogers is living the dream. Not because Paris Hilton is one of his clients, but because he's helping countless Angelenos – many of whom are celebrities – find their dream home. He's parlayed his multiple multi-million dollar listings, position at Hilton & Hyland and occasional appearances on TMZ into a starring role on the Bravo series, Million Dollar Listing.
A Malibu native, Rogers earned his real estate license at age 18. Although he insists he didn't get into the industry because of money, Rogers has fancied himself with properties in the tens of millions of dollars. "To me the commission is gravy," says the doe-eyed pretty boy. "I honestly don't feel like I'm working – I'm having fun every single day."
Rogers, who keeps clients and fans in touch with his day-to-day via his blog (chadrogersblog.com), is no stranger to cliche-ridden sentiments. But, the difference here is that he's sincere. When Rogers says he's a "people person" who just wants to take care of his clients, we believe him. When asked about the current property crisis, he sounds genuinely pained.
"I've been affected by it on an emotional level," he says. "I feel so bad for all the people who are losing their homes. I like hearing that people are happy, and in their dream homes."
There's certainly plenty of ambition left for the successful 31-year-old who is currently securing a $40 million dollar property. As Rogers himself admits, "I always know I'd run with the big league... I just didn't know how I'd get there."
