Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood
June '07 Excerpt from Plug LA Magazine, By Chad Rogers for PlugLADaily.com
I have heard a lot of talk of late about the desire for land. A little piece of nirvana, a quiet oasis in an otherwise busy existence. You have to sometimes look past the condition of the house and shoot for the land. You can always work with a tear-down to create your own individual space. Land in an urban setting is an ever diminishing resource. So call me over at Hilton & Hyland and I'll fill you in... Lately, I've been really hooked on fish. A couple of places I really like are Il Sole in West Hollywood for the Dover sole and Pace on Laurel Canyon for their incredible salmon. I find that both restaurants have diverse health-related dishes in tranquil settings. There's nothing better than eating well and knowing that your food is from the highest quality from the freshest resource... The other day I went to an event honoring Mindy and Jon Peters. I was also there when Jon got his star on Hollywood Blvd. The event was a benefit dinner for the annual "Salute to Youth." It was a star-studded event for a great cause!
It's a wonderful day in my neighborhood. |
